JV FIELD LOCATIONS

 

FERRY INFORMATION

There is complete info at www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries for Bainbridge, Bremerton and Kingston boat times and fares. Approx ride times: ~35 min for Bainbridge, ~60 min for Bremerton, ~25 min for Kingston.

 

Call the Coleman dock at 206-464-6400 24 hours in advance to get a reservation for a team. You must arrive 30 minutes prior but you are put in a special lane. This alleviates the stress of making the ferry.

 

AUBURN MOUNTAINVIEW HIGH SCHOOL

From the south, north or west of Auburn:

East Entrance

Take Hwy 176 to Auburn, then Hwy 18 E. Exit at 304^th St. Turn right onto 304^th and proceed to the light at 132^nd Ave SE. Turn right onto 132^nd Ave SE and proceed � mile. The east entrance will be on your left. The lights on the ball fields will be visible on your left as you near the entrance. All gym events will enter through the west courtyard at the west end of the building. Parking for gym events will also be at the west end of the building. Proceed past the front entrance to the school to get to the west parking lots.

 

West Entrance

Follow the same directions as above to get to 132^nd Ave SE. As soon as you turn right onto 132^nd Ave. SE you will turn left onto 304^th and proceed to the light at 124^th Ave SE. Turn right on 124^th Ave. SE, proceed � mile to the right turn lane and the west entrance to Auburn Mountainview High School. It�s easy to miss the entrance, proceed slowly. Parking is to the right as you enter campus. The West Courtyard is adjacent to the upper west parking lot and between the two wings of the building.

 

From east of Auburn:

Take Hwy 18 westbound. Use the 304^th St exit and follow the same directions above.

 

From the north through Kent:

On the surface streets in Kent proceed east or west to either 124^th Ave. SE or 132^nd Ave. SE and proceed south.

 

On 124^th Ave SE. proceed south looking for the green water tower on the Auburn/Kent city line. Turn left just beyond the tower at the Auburn Mountainview High School entrance. You will be at the west end of the building. Do not turn left onto 288^th street. 

 

On 132^nd Ave SE. proceed south past Reber Ranch, turn right from the long right turn lane. You will be at the east end of the building. Do not park in the east parking lot for events in the gyms. You�ll have a very long walk around the building to the west entrance.

 

BELLEVUE

Bellevue High School Stadium

From the north:

Take 405 south. Take exit #13B, NE 8^th Street.  Head West on NE 8^th (towards the tall buildings)

Turn Left on Bellevue Way.  Turn left on SE Wolverine Way/Kilmarnock (this is a steep hill).  BHS is at the top of this hill.

 

From the south:

Take 405 north. Take exit #13B, NE 8^th Street.  Head West on NE 8^th (towards the tall buildings)

Turn Left on Bellevue Way.  Turn left on SE Wolverine Way/Kilmarnock (this is a steep hill).  BHS is at the top of this hill.

 

From the west/ferries:

Take I90 West.  Take Bellevue Way exit.  Turn right on SE Wolverine Way/Kilmarnock (this is a steep hill).  BHS is at the top of this hill.

From the west:

From Hwy 16 take I-5 South to Hwy 512. Take Hwy 512 to the Pacific Avenue/Pacific Lutheran University exit. Head south on Pacific avenue and continue until you come to 224th Street. Turn left on to 224th and proceed to 38th avenue. Turn left on to 38th avenue and park in the school lot. The field is located behind the stadium.

University Place School District Stadium at Curtis High School

From Southbound I-5: Take I-5 S to the 56th Street Exit West. Go left at the traffic lights and then a quick right onto 56^th St. Travel west on 56th (it becomes Cirque Drive) for approximately 3.25 miles to Bridgeport Way West. Turn right and travel north to 40th Street. Turn left on 40th street and travel west through the four-way stop at Sunset Drive and down the hill. School is on the right-hand side of the street. The entrance to the stadium south parking lot is the second driveway past the Curtis HS reader board. In order to park on the north side of the stadium continue on 40th and make a right turn on Olympic Drive. Turn right at Grandview Drive (roundabout). Turn right at the driveway just past the baseball field.

 

From Eastbound 16: Take the Bridgeport Way exit (first exit after the bridge).  Take a right at the light.  Follow Bridgeport Way going south to 40^th St.  Turn right on 40^th and travel west through the four-way stop at Sunset Drive and down the hill. School is on the right-hand side of the street. The entrance to the stadium south parking lot is the second driveway past the Curtis HS reader board. In order to park on the north side of the stadium continue on 40th and make a right turn on Olympic Drive. Turn right at Grandview Drive (roundabout). Turn right at the driveway just past the baseball field.

 

EASTSIDE CATHOLIC

From I-90 (heading east):

Take Exit 15 (WA 900 west/17^th Ave NW toward Lake Sammamish State Park/Renton). Turn left at 17^th Ave NW/Renton Issaquah Rd SE. Take the slight right on SE 56^th St. Take left onto E Lake Sammamish Pkwy. Take right onto SE 43^rd. Go up hill and continue on road for ~4 miles past the Pine Lake shopping center. SE 43^rd becomes 228^th. Follow 228^th past Skyline HS. Take right onto SE 4^th.

 

From 520:

Take exit for Redmond Way/WA 202. Keep right at the fork. Follow signs for WA 202E/Fall City/North Bend and merge onto Redmond Way. Take right on Sahalee Way NE. Sahalee Way becomes 228^th. Follow for ~2 miles and take left on SE 4^th St.

Get yourself onto I-90 east. Take exit 11A, 150th Avenue SE. Stay in the right-hand lane and turn right onto 150th continue through the traffic light at SE 38th Street, stay in the right lane and go up the hill to SE Newport Way. Turn right onto SE Newport Way. Continue 0.8 miles to the traffic light at the water fountain entrance to Somerset. Turn left onto Somerset Blvd and stay in the right-hand lane. Continue up the hill, almost to the top. Turn right at 139th and proceed up the hill onto the campus. Visitor parking is located in front of the Administration Building as well in the upper lot to the left of the entrance which is adjacent to the field.

N.E. 45^th St. (Exit #169):

Go east on NE 45^th St., past the UW campus, heading down hill. At bottom of hill, turn left at stoplight.  Continue east on NE 45^th St. which bears left/north becoming Sand Point Way NE. Continue on Sand Point Way NE about 2 miles (passing Children�s Hospital).  At NE 65^th St., turn right into park entrance.  NOTE:  You do NOT want the main entrance, which is at NE 74^th.  From the park entrance, follow the directions below. 

 

NE 65^th St. (Exit # 171):

Go east on NE 65^th St (stay on the arterial!) approx. 4 miles until you cross Sand Point Way NE into the park entrance.  From the park entrance, follow the directions below.

 

        From SR 520:

        Take the Montlake Blvd. exit (north); continue north on Montlake Blvd. about 1 mile. Bear right as Montlake Blvd. becomes NE 45^th St. Continue east on NE 45^th St., which bears left/north becoming Sand Point Way NE. Continue on Sand Point Way NE about 2 miles (passing Children�s Hospital). At NE 65^th St, turn right into park entrance.  From the park entrance, follow the directions below.

 

        From I-90:

        Take I-5 north to NE 45^th St. (Exit #169) or to NE 65^th St. (Exit #171) and follow the directions above.

 

        From the park entrance:

After entering the NE 65^th St entrance continue straight until you get to 2 �Do Not Enter� signs by the boat launch area. Turn left and continue past the 1^st stop sign to �Kite Hill.� The parking lot is on the left at the end of the road. Follow the signs for the �cross park trail� towards the tennis courts and the athletic fields/sports meadow. The lacrosse fields are in the sports meadow just beyond the tennis courts.

Heading Southbound I-405:

Take I-405 South towards Renton. I-405 becomes WA-518 W which becomes S 148^th St. Turn right onto 1^st Ave S. Turn right onto S 140^th St. The field is in back of school.

 

From the ferries:

Take Alaskan Way south continuing onto E Marginal Way S. Slight right at WA-509 S. Take the WA-518/S 146^th St exit toward I-5/Sea-Tac Airport/Burien. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for S 146^th St. Turn right at S 146^th. Turn right onto 1^st Ave S. Turn right onto S 140^th St. The field is in the back of the school.

 

Via WA-99 S

Take Marion St to 1^st Ave S and turn right. Turn right at Columbia onto ramp to WA-99S. . Slight right at WA-509 S. Take the WA-518/S 146^th St exit toward I-5/Sea-Tac Airport/Burien. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for S 146^th St. Turn right at S 146^th. Turn right onto 1^st Ave S. Turn right onto S 140^th St. The field is in the back of the school.

From Seattle: Take I 90 East. After crossing floating bridge onto Mercer Island, exit at Island Crest Way (#7B). LEFT on SE 40th St. RIGHT on 86th Ave. LEFT on 42nd St. LEFT into stadium parking lot

 

From Eastside: Take I 90 West. After crossing east Channel bridge onto Mercer Island, exit at Island Crest Way. Left onto Island Crest Way. Left on SE 40th ST. Right on 86th Ave. Left on 42nd St. Left into stadium parking lot.

Follow 520 East to the end (staying in the left lane as you go past Marymoor Park). Go straight at the light onto Avondale Road and go straight through 3 more lights. Before the 5th light, bear right onto Novelty Hill Rd.   After about 1/4 mile, take the first left onto Redmond Road. Go about a mile and you will see the school sign on the right. Go right and park in the parking lot beside the fields there. We play on the turf field with the black fence around it.

follow WA-161. Turn LEFT onto 152ND ST E. Go 1.3 miles, school/field is on your left.

Take the Montlake Blvd exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Montlake Blvd (north) and continue ~1mile. Bear right (east) as Montlake Blvd becomes NE 45^th St. (by University Village). The street curves left and continues north and becomes Sandpoint Way NE. Continue on Sandpoint Way NE ~2.5 miles.  At NE 74^th Street turn right into Magnuson Park. Continue straight through a couple of intersections and you will see a parking lot on the right.

 

Park at the east end of the parking lot near the play structures. You should see signs for the path to the Sports Meadow to the right of the play structure. Follow the path to the Sports Meadow and the lacrosse fields.

 

From I-5 Northbound:

Take #170 (NE 65^th St). At the end of the ramp, take a soft left onto 8^th Ave NE headed north. Take a right onto NE 65^th St. (east). Continue on NE 65^th St for several miles. Stay on the main arterial. At the top of a big hill, bear right onto 49^th Ave/NE Princeton Way. It then curves around to the left and becomes NE 65^th St as it curves again to the right. Continue on NE 65^th St down the hill. Turn left onto Sandpoint Way NE. At NE 74^th St turn right into Magnuson Park. Continue straight through a couple of intersections and you will see a parking lot on the right.

 

Park at the east end of the parking lot near the play structures. You should see signs for the path to the Sports Meadow to the right of the play structure. Follow the path to the Sports Meadow and the lacrosse fields.

Take I-5 to Tacoma, take exit #133 City Center exit. Follow signs to the Schuster Parkway (bearing right). Stay on the Schuster parkway (get in left hand lane), follow sign for N. 30th St (get in right lane). Go through 1 stop light and head up a big hill. Go to 2^nd stop light and turn left onto N. Proctor.  You will see Mason MS on your right.  Turn right (after Mason MS) onto N. 28^th St.  The field in the back of the school.

From the West: 
Follow Highway 16 east across the Narrows Bridge.  Take the Pearl St. Exit #3 (towards WA 163N/Ruston).  Turn right on Pearl and an immediate right at the 1^st light onto 6^th Ave.  Go approx 1.2 mi to N. Proctor and make a left.  Proceed another 1 mile to N. 28^th St and make a left.  The field is behind the school.
